Alrighty... I'm barely using this account anymore, it's time to retire it. I've moved my icons over to my other account, but it's fine if you've linked to me here.

Well, about one more month to go *knocks on wood* before I can buy my new machine and updated image software. If I might even luck out and end up with Photoshop. I had to drop one class, though, since it required software I couldn't afford yet.

In the meantime, here's an itty, bitty update. You should also check out my DA account, since I also have my stuff posted there.

*shifty eyes* The information I'm about to tell you is confidential and should be considered highly classified. Be forwarned that should this information fall into enemy hands, it could mean the deaths of thousands of covert ops.

The criminal entity known only as "Echo" has taken an unknown designer's mouse hostage for reasons not yet determined. This vile terrorist has only stated that her demands must be met within the appointed hour and an unknown object known as "the fuzzy blue ball" be returned to her. Should we fail to meet this rapidly approaching deadline, she has threatened extreme bodily harm in the form of many kitty scratches and toothy nibbles.

Be advised that an elite team of negotiators has been dispatched to work with the hostage taker to see if a compromise can be reached. In the meantime, police search teams are canvasing the area to hunt for this desired object should the negotiators be unsucessful.

The designer only had this to say: "Damned cat, gimme back my friggin' mouse!"

Oops ^^;; Eh... heh heh. By posting those icons to animeicons, I drop-kicked our bandwidth usage up by a whole gig.

I'm going to have to get a photobucket account or something, or else fake lj cut next time so everyone interested goes to my site to look instead of my icons showing up on several thousand friends pages. ^^;;

Well, I'm feeling smart right now =) I was just trying to put some latches on the cupboard doors under the kitchen sink. Since I have to predrill some holes for these before I can put the screws in, I opted for the lazy method of using a small nail and a tack hammer. Well, I was squatting while I did this, but thanks to martial arts, I'm usually not too terribly clumsy.

Not today! XD

As I was pulling the nail out when I lost my balance, fell over, and rammed the bridge of my nose into the edge of the cupboard. Lots of cursing and a cold, wet rag later, I'm okay. Except for the short, little cut across the bridge of my nose.

So yeah, I feel like a prize winning idiot. Feel free to laugh, I am!! *grins sheepishly*

Thanks Crim! *HUGS* Thanks a bunch for the card, Trelithe!

The first test came back this morning: I don't have cancer. =D But, they're still performing tests to determine what I do have.

So that's good news =)

Yes, yes... I live =) I have this huge bandage on the side of my neck I'm just itching (litterly) to get rid of, but otherwise I'm fine.

I'm not taking any more Vicodin if I can help it.... I don't mind feeling a little pain and I can do without the dizziness, lightheadedness, and how damned drowsy it makes me.

I never want to go back to Metropolitan Hospitol or any related clinics. Good Lord.... they were so unprepared and disorganized it wasn't funny. First the nurses couldn't find a vein in my left arm to stick the IV in, so I told them the veins were slightly larger and more visible in my right. Ignored. Took two nurses to skewer my large vein in my left wrist several times over. At first they first claimed (in a loud whisper to each other) they'd never seen a vein "run" like mine did, then they claimed out loud to me that vein is always hard to get. Hmm...kay.

So, they finally tried the veins on the back of my right hand. *sigh* Skewered again, but they finally got the IV in.

So, rising and painful goose egg on my left wrist and a huge bruise on the back of my right hand. Batting 100 so far.

So, then I have questions as the nurses take my blood off for various tests. I'm going to have to talk to my doctor, so I ask him when he shows up. Nope, not him. So I ask the Anesiologist's nurse. No, I still have to talk to that doctor when he shows up. I ask him and - wow, I was supposed to ask my doctor.

So, I'm about to go into the OR and my several minute blood test isn't back yet. We wait. No, another 10 minutes.

So, it's into the OR and then wait. Nope, still not done yet. They load me onto the table and prepare to knock me out. Nope, the tests still aren't back yet so they begin without the bloodtests.

I wake up at close to 1pm and the recovery room nurses are total idiots. Arrg. I'm awake, ok? Send me home, goddamnit. No, my stomach is fine. In pain? Hello, you shot me full of narcotic painkillers! On a pain scale of 1-10 I'm an annoyed -1. No, I do NOT want any pop. Water. No, I said I wanted WATER. Not ice chips, WATER.

As they wheeled me back into my partition, Mom took one look at me and started laying out my clothes. lol She wanted to laugh, I know she did. =) She even admitted she did, but she had to survive the ride home with me. "Do not put a grouchy assassin in the shotgun position or behind you with a garrot if you expect to live." is her words now that I'm in a better frame of mine.

Anyway, never again with Metropolitan Hospitol. Thank you very much; I'd rather wait for any future proceedures until there's an opening in St. Mary's Hospitol.

But yeah, I'm grouchy and have a good case of opticalrectalitis (family joke meaning "Shitty outlook on life"), but I'm alive.

*GLOMPS* and much love to everyone =)

Sally here with a little update on the brother. ^_^

Jasson came through the surgery okay, no problems whatsoever. His first words as he woke up were "I wanna go home!" and answered every subsequent question with the same response. (Anesthesia makes him grouchy as a wee FYI. XD Poppa laughed when we told him this, since he's the same way.)

He's keeping food down okay and seems to be regaining his appetite. He devoured two bowls of my chicken soup I made last night. (Though only about a cup at a sitting.)

Anyway, he's all doped up right now with Vicodin and in lala land. He should have the results from the pathologist by Friday or Monday at the latest.

Thanks everyone for your support, I did print out your comments and read them to him. ^_^ I'm sure he'll be more with it tomorrow so he can reply himself.

Thanks again!
